How do I move an active license to a new computer? - Users NOT using the Purchase Portal

For administrators:
- Log into Protect-It remote.
- Click the ‘i’ icon on the left of the license you want to move.
- On the license details page which pops up, click ‘Reallocate’ in the centre of the screen.
- You will see a ‘#SL-123ABC3120…’ code appear – this is your new license code for the new machine.
- When you open vsHome or VS on your new machine, click ‘create new’ when prompted.
- Enter the new ‘#SL-‘ code.
- You should have now successfully reallocated your license to the new machine.
For non-administrators:
- If you need to move your license to a new machine, you will need to contact your license administrator, who will follow the above steps to reallocate your license.
