A common question is “How do we get our team working from a shared directory for quotes, orders and clientbase?”. This can be easily set up in Virtual Shopfloor:
- Go to File > Preferences.
- Navigate on the left hand side down to ‘Directories’.
- You will see a list of directories for things such as projects, quotes, orders etc.
- To change the directory each is mapped to, click the ‘Browse’ button on the right hand side.
- If you want this to be a shared location (such as a server), navigate to this location using the file explorer which pops up.
- You will need to do this on each machine you wish to share locations with.
